The Challenge

The bank's operations were characterised by high manual processing volume in precisely the areas most amenable to automation: identity verification at onboarding, repetitive servicing queries, rules-based fraud flag review, and document-heavy underwriting workflows. Existing automation (RPA) was brittle, broke on edge cases, and required constant maintenance. The bank needed agents that could reason — not just execute scripts.

Our Solution

Cody designed a multi-agent architecture using a LangChain-based orchestration layer with specialist agents for each domain. Onboarding Agent: KYC validation and regulatory checklist completion. Servicing Agent: bilingual natural-language query resolution with human-handoff escalation. Fraud Detection Agent: continuous transaction monitoring with anomaly scoring and case summary generation. Underwriting Agent: credit bureau aggregation, document parsing, and risk scoring with full audit trail. All agents operate under a compliance-by-design framework — no autonomous financial decision is made without a reviewable human approval step, satisfying SAMA oversight requirements.
